Own Home Support
The service of support to their own home is addressed to those people with intellectual disabilities for which to live alone is not viable, but the fact of living in a resident home would limit their independence and possibilities to develop themselves. It is also addressed to people who want to live in their own homes or want to become independent from the house where they were brought up, sharing housing in a unity of no more than 5 people. Thanks to this service these people, 7 at present, get in the house where they were brought up, with their family centre or in homes arranged by the Association, an intense support but not continuous, focused on those aspects which need major attention or supervision. The Association arranges 2 rented flats in Vic, at Verdaguer street, with 4 people assisted in each of them.
